RSA settings children
Hi,
I'm visually inspecting the RSA in my sample, which consists of children (8-12 years old) and adults (18-80 years old). In the VU AMS manual it is described that some settings for respiration when measuring children might need to be changed, because children have a higher heart rate. I compared the respiration rates between children and adults in my sample and the differences aren't that large. With the default settings the program also doesn't mark more than 10% of the recording for children as artefact. What do you recommend? Can I maintain the default settings or are there some clear cut off settings for children?
Thank you in advance for your answer!
Best,
Renate

Re: RSA settings children
Hi Renate,
You can stick with the default settings if VU-DAMS does not mark more than 1/10 of the recording as artefact.

Jarik
