No installed version of Java is found!

Hi VU-AMS team,

I'm trying to install VU-DAMS 3.9 on a new computer and keep getting the VU-DAMS error No installed version of Java is found! Do you want to download 64 bit Java now?

If I choose Yes and install Java 64 bit the error remains. I looked into the Uninstall a Program menu and as you can see in the image below both Java 32 bit and Java 64 bit are correctly installed:

Hi AMSuser,

The Java 64 bit setup on our website was a bit old. This is fixed now.
You can see in your screenshot the version of your 64 bit Java installation is lower than the 32 bit version (8.0.910.14 vs 8.0.910.15).

Generally you can also solve this by:

• Going to java.com
• Clicking the Free Java Download button
• Clicking the See all Java downloads
• Click and run the Windows Offline (64-bit) setup
