extrasystoles
Hello,
In our study participants' stress responses are operationalized as the (change in) average heart rate per segment of interest. However, we have one participant with many extrasystoles. Would you recommend anything on including/excluding this participant in/from the study?
Thanks in advance!
Sophie

Re: extrasystoles
A possible decision would be to base the HR only on non-extrasystolic beats.
The best way to obtain this estimate (other than actually deleting all extrasystolic beats under the R-peak detection tab) would be to use mean HR in the Respiration scoring Tab as deviant Beats are flagged as wrong here.
