Startup device takes about a minute
Hi,
Today we found that the startup of the VU-AMS device takes about a minute all of a sudden. We here a beep when we insert the batteries and then the VU-AMS device seems to freeze. After about one minute we here the startup beeps as you refer to on http://www.vu-ams.nl/support/tutorials/ ... io-signals
Any idea what’s going on?
Regards,
AMS user

Hi AMS user,
You are probably using a FAT32 formatted Compact Flash card. Please make sure you are using a VU-AMS compatible CF card: http://www.vu-ams.nl/support/tutorials/ ... e/cf-cards
If you are using a VU-AMS compatible CF card please format it using the instructions in the video on http://www.vu-ams.nl/support/tutorials/troubleshooting at 1 minute and 50 seconds. Please pay extra attention to setting the File system to FAT (meaning FAT16).
Best,
Jarik
